I’m Whitney D. Walter – as you’ve probably guessed teaching others how to master their professional development (everything from LinkedIn to Microsoft PowerPoint!) so they can advance their careers/lives is my happy place.
People come to me when they’re feeling overwhelmed, intimidated, and just straight-up exhausted with their careers. Together, we’ll cut through the anxiety and make it feel like professional growth is nearly on autopilot. I’m all about working smarter, not harder, OK?
As a Professional Development Expert, experienced Corporate Trainer/Consultant, and Professional Speaker, I have more than a decade of experience navigating workplace politics, growing my own professional skills and mentoring others doing the same. Since I’ve worked in corporate America for years, I have a unique perspective on what it takes to create successful careers. The secret sauce? I sprinkle a dash of self-advocacy on everything I do and all things I teach.
I’m also a certified Microsoft-certified PowerPoint Specialist and corporate AVP with an MBA from Florida State University (go Noles!) which means I’m not at all a newbie in the professional world. I’m an OG, as they say. 😉

- I’m a dog mom. My pup, Riley, is a 9 lb Yorkie-Havenese who often makes guest appearances on my Instagram. I work hard so he can have a better life. Obviously.
- I’m an avid traveler. I’ve been to 8 countries and CANNOT wait to add more to the list later this year.
- I’m a foodie extraordinaire. I will try any food once – as long as it isn’t still moving. Seriously. I once ate at a buffet in Seoul where all of the signage was in Korean and much of the food was unrecognizable. And guess what? It. Was. Amazing.
- I’m a true crime junkie. It all started when I became obsessed with watching Unsolved Mysteries as a middle schooler. I’ve since graduated to podcasts, documentary marathons, and investigative Facebook groups. Patiently waiting on my call to join the FBI.
- I’m living proof that even as a SUPER INTROVERT once you make the decision to take your life into your own hands, it only gets better from there. Stubborn and unwavering persistence goes a long way!
